Now in its 12th year, the NIDUS Delirium Boot Camp is open to early career faculty and research fellows from a variety of backgrounds, professions and research areas. The 2024 program can be found here. As in previous years, the 2024 Boot Camp will feature an inter-professional faculty of more than 15 nationally-recognized translational and clinical delirium researchers.
Although the 2024 theme is, "Delirium and ADRD: Research Gaps and Opportunities" the program will is not specifically limited to ADRD area and submitted proposals do NOT have to be ADRD-focused. Delirium-related proposals from a wide range of interventions, settings and populations are encouraged including animal models, biomarkers, epidemiology, pilot clinical studies and implementation science.
Applications from outside the USA are encouraged. There is no fee to attend the Boot Camp. Travel stipends for flight expenses are available on a reimbursement basis. NIDUS provides complimentary airport shuttle service, hotel accommodations and meals during Boot Camp.
