The 6th Annual CEDARTREE-NIDUS Delirium Boot Camp will be held from October 3-5 at the Nittany Lion Inn, Penn State University, State College PA. This year’s Boot Camp Chairs are Donna Fick, PhD, RN, and Wes Ely, MD, MPH.
The Delirium Boot Camp is a 2.5 day intensive training course in delirium research. It was started in 2013 by Sharon Inouye through funding from the NIA to establish the Center for Excellence for Delirium in Aging: Research, Training, and Education Enhancement. In 2016, NIDUS (Network for Investigation of Delirium: Unifying Scientists) was created and the Boot Camp was expanded to have a wider reach across the US and internationally, under leadership of the NIDUS Mentorship and Career Development Task Force.
