NIA Workshop: Current Progress and New Directions in Delirium Research

The Division of Neuroscience at the National Institute on Aging will host a hybrid workshop entitled “Current Progress and New Directions in Delirium Research ” on August 5 – 6, 2024. The workshop will be held at the NIA’s Neuroscience Center in Rockville, MD with a virtual option on Zoom. Register here.

The workshop will target four key areas in delirium research: Basic Brain Mechanisms; Delirium Prediction; Delirium Prevention; and Delirium Outcomes. Wes Ely (Vanderbilt University Medical Center) will deliver the keynote address. There will also be discussion on knowledge gaps and to pinpoint potential opportunities for advancement in delirium research.
