JAMA Internal Medicine announces a call for applications for its 2025-26 Editorial Fellowship. JAMA IM will invite three early-career faculty in Internal Medicine to participate in this 1-year fellowship. The selected Editorial Fellows will join the JAMA Internal Medicine editorial team and will gain experience in all core elements of serving as an editor at a high-impact medical journal.
JAMA IM encourages applications from individuals from diverse clinical and experiential backgrounds, particularly those who are from underrepresented groups in medicine. Fellows will:
- receive mentorship from Internal Medicine Editors
- dedicate a minimum of 4 hours per week to fellowship-related activities (in addition to scheduled editor meetings)
- receive a small stipend in recognition of their contributions to the journal
