The AGING Initiative is announces the seventh cycle of the AGING Initiative MCCs Scholars Program. The program will create a cohort of emerging leaders who are committed to pursuing training and collaborative opportunities to align their research interests with issues relevant to the health and healthcare of older adults with MCCs. - The AGING Initiative will select up to 16 scholars this year
- The scholarships provide travel and accommodations for a training workshop as an introduction to the new cohort
- Throughout the year, Scholars participate in six webinar-based career development teleconferences based on 4 curricular elements:
- Significance of Multiple Chronic Conditions
- Resources and tools for MCCs Scholars Program researchers
- Enabling meaningful patient/caregiver engagement
- Professional/leadership development for investigators
