Apply for the 2025 NIDUS Delirium Boot Camp

2025 Boot Camp first announcement

NIDUS is now accepting applications for the 13th Annual 2025 NIDUS Delirium Research Boot Camp: Researching the Delirium-ADRD Inter-Relationship: Innovation and Translation.

The 2025 NIDUS Delirium Boot Camp will be led by a faculty of more than 15 experienced delirium researchers, who collectively, have expertise in everything from animal models, biomarkers, epidemiology, clinical trials, implementation science, delirium assessment and statistical methods (and their application to research in the clinical settings where delirium is most frequently encountered). The Boot Camp focused on junior researcher mentorship and engagement: program highlights include interactive didactic sessions on a broad range of topics, mock-NIH study sections, along with formal (and informal) networking and mentorship sessions.

Important Items to Note:

  • NIDUS encourages international (i.e. non-USA) applications.
  • The program covers most mentee travel costs and all hotel/meal costs.
  • Mentee research proposals must evaluate delirium as an outcome. However, this can be a secondary outcome (delirium need to be the project’s sole focus).
  • 2025 Boot Camp proposals with a focus on ADRD as an outcome isn’t a necessity.
