AGS Seeks MCC Champions

The AGS/AGING LEARNING Collaborative is looking for MCC Champions to introduce the MCC’s Core Curriculum and encourage the inclusion of people living with Multiple Chronic Conditions (people living with MCCs) in research to their peers. On Thursday, May 29 at 1:00 PM ET, the LEARNING Collaborative will be hosting a Becoming a MCC Champion workshop. During the session, presenters will introduce the MCC Research Core Curriculum. In addition, presenters will encourage attendees to use the MCC Research Champion Toolkit at their own institutions. Speakers include:

  • Jay Magaziner, PhD, MSHyg (University of Maryland)
  • Jerry Gurwitz, MD (UMass Chan Medical School)
  • Heather Whitson, MD (Duke University)
  • Lauren Ferrante, MD (Yale University)
  • Una Makris, MD (University of Texas)
